The Maryland State Department of Environment issued an announcement that affected by the new crown pneumonia pandemic, the previous “Environmental Provisions” Article 9-2203(b) stipulated that “food service companies must stop selling or supply EPS products for food service” The deadline for the decree was extended from July 1, 2020 to October 1, 2020.
According to Article 9-2203(a) of the Regulations: Local food service companies and schools can continue to use the existing EPS food service product inventory until October 1, 2020, but will not be able to purchase extra after July 1 EPS food service products.
