What is carbon dioxide Extruded plate?
As the steamed bread needs to be foamed by yeast, the production of the foaming agent. The traditional extrusion plate foaming agent has many kinds, such as Freon, butane, ethanol, dimethyl ether, liquefied petroleum gas, etc. Carbon dioxide extrusion board refers to the extrusion board produced with carbon dioxide as the main foaming agent.
Since the Freon foaming is easier to control, the conventional extruded sheet basically uses Freon as the main blowing agent. It’s also useful for LPG, because it’s cheap.
But, Freon is not environmentally friendly and liquefied petroleum gas is too dangerous.
Since the release of the Montreal protocol, China’s extrusion industry has been actively exploring and using more environmentally friendly carbon dioxide instead of Freon as a blowing agent.
What are the differences between the carbon dioxide extruded sheet and the common extruded sheet.
