This product is recommended for medium or low density block applications, geofoam application, insulation boards and construction products in which flame retardancy is necessary.

ASCHEM EPS 1016F can be expanded to densities 15 kg/m³with single pre-expansion and with or more expansion density of lower than 10 kg/m³ can be achieved.
After pre-expansion, the EPS products should be aged in silos between 8-12 hours depending on the blowing agent type, amount, environment and process conditions.

EPS(Expandable Polystyrene) is a lightweight, rigid, plastic foam insulation material produced from solid particles of polystyrene. Expandsion is achieved by virtue of small amounts of pentane gas dissolved into the polystyrene base material during production.The gas expands under the action of heat, applied as steam, to form perfectly clesed cells of EPS.
Storage standard EPS contains volatile and combustible composition and should therefore be kept far away from any source of ignition, perferable in a cool, dry and well-ventilated storeroom below 25 ℃ out of direct sunlight.
