Foam machinery retains a certain amount of foaming agent and water vapor within pre-expanded beads. As these beads exit the machine, they condense into liquid, allowing the foaming agent to dissolve into polystyrene. This process rapidly lowers the pressure within the bubbles, creating a partial vacuum. Due to their soft and easily deformable nature, it’s crucial to handle them delicately during air delivery. Maintain low air pressure to avoid deformation, ensure smooth inner walls in air ducts with wide bending radii to minimize collisions. Use pipelines that conduct electricity well and ground the entire system to prevent static sparks. Additionally, keep transmission speeds below 8m/s to prevent bead damage.
