EPS block molding machine is a piece of equipment used to produce polystyrene (EPS) foam blocks. EPS is a lightweight, insulating and impact-resistant material commonly used in packaging, construction and other applications.
The working principle of the EPS block molding machine is to inject pre-heated EPS particles into the mold and expand them through steam heating. After a uniform expanded object is formed inside the mold, the steam will be exhausted and the EPS will continue to cool in the mold until solidified. When curing is complete, the mold is opened to form an EPS foam block of the desired size and shape.
EPS block molding machine usually consists of the following main parts:
Foaming system: including EPS particle feeding device, steam heating system and foaming control system. EPS particles are transported into the mold through a feeding device and expand under the action of steam. The foaming control system can adjust the steam heating time and pressure as needed to ensure the quality and density control of the block foam.
Pressure system: used to provide the necessary pressure during the foaming process to ensure uniform expansion of EPS blocks.
Cooling system: used to cool the expanded EPS block to solidify it. The cooling system can use water circulation or other cooling media to speed up cooling.
Control system: used to monitor and control the entire EPS block molding process. The control system can monitor parameters such as temperature, pressure and time in real time, and automatically control the foaming, pressure and cooling processes according to preset programs.
