①In the design, it should be avoided that the size is too large (exceeds the size of the mold base) or too small (there is no way to feed, no vacuum holes), the deep groove is too deep, the excessive fillet (to avoid the generation of flash), and the thickness is not uniform. , or the cushion is too thick or too thin, the designer should design the product based on the production process of our company under the premise of meeting the needs of the customer;
② Selection of demoulding angle (case); for the convenience of demoulding in the molding process of EPS pre-expander, without straining the product, and considering various factors such as drainage, EPS products must have a certain draft angle inside and outside. Generally 1~1.5° (our company can achieve 0.5°), in the EPS product design, it should be considered that these will not affect the subsequent packaging of customers;
③Due to the shrinkage and deformation of EPS after molding and demoulding, the general mold size will be 1‰~5‰ larger than the final product size;
④EPS mold forming must have process traces such as feeding port, ejector pin, vacuum hole, etc., according to the thickness and size of different molded products, choose different material pipe diameters. The position of the feeding port should be selected properly. The back feeding port should be selected as far as possible in the thicker part of the product or in the middle position, and the side feeding port should be selected on the thin side of the product, where the feeding is smooth.
