At present, the market demand for foam board machinery in the north is affected by the adjustment of the national external wall insulation policy, etc., and is constantly facing new challenges. Foam machinery manufacturers have begun to develop new products to adapt to market development and prevent the possibility of being eliminated. However, due to the demand for foam machinery in South China, there is no obvious impact of foam packaging machinery, or further restrictions from related policies, and the consumption continues throughout the year. Compared with the north, the off-peak season is not very obvious, and the future development prospect is relatively good. .
Regardless of whether it is South China or North China, the EPS industry needs to be adjusted according to the actual local conditions, and the competition between regions will also promote the development of the entire industry to a certain extent.
In recent years, my country’s EPS industry has been developing continuously, and both production technology and product output are increasing year by year. The regionalization of industrial distribution is also gradually strengthened. It is understood that since 2008, the production capacity of domestic EPS manufacturers has entered a stage of rapid growth. Until 2014, the overall production capacity in mainland China was about 6.87 million tons, an increase of about 3.68 million tons compared with 2008. With the layout planning of different enterprises, regional competitive sales are becoming more and more obvious. South China is relatively independent to a certain extent, and there are certain differences in sales prices from East China.
The demand for EPS in South China is dominated by foam packaging machinery, while the demand for foam board machinery is relatively small. Affected by this, local enterprises mostly produce ordinary materials, and relatively few retardant materials. For example, enterprises such as Zhongshan Mingdi basically produce ordinary materials, and there are few retardant materials. Most of the rest of the companies also mainly order ordinary materials, and some of them carry out regular or order-based production for retardant materials.
South China is dominated by enterprises such as Dongguan Dragon King, Huizhou Xingda, and Zhongshan Delta. Enterprises in East China and other regions have a hard time entering the competition. It is difficult to fully absorb the freight cost alone, and there are also risks in terms of transportation time. Affected by this, the regionalized sales model in the local market is very obvious.
From the analysis of raw material sources and demand sources, most EPS manufacturers in South China mainly use local styrene raw materials. It is understood that the price of styrene in South China is mostly higher than that in East China, thus raising the production cost of EPS enterprises in South China to a certain extent, and providing effective cost support for the high-level operation of the local market. Recently, the price of raw materials has been rising continuously, and the pressure on foam processing enterprises has been increasing! But the demand is not weak.
