From the beginning of 2021 to the present, the dual impact of supply and demand has led to the continuous rise of crude oil prices. The downstream demand for superimposed plastics is improving. The supply of overseas installations has been reduced due to the cold wave, which has driven the prices of PP, PE, PVC and other plastic raw materials to rise. While the prices of raw materials have risen, the prices of downstream products have shown a certain degree of stickiness. The rate of increase in product prices cannot keep up with the rate of increase in raw material prices, resulting in pressure on downstream plastic manufacturers. In the first quarter of this year, the order volume increased year-on-year but suffered serious losses.
