In the actual evaluation process, since the EPS organic waste gas is mainly pentane blowing agent, non-methane total is often used as the evaluation index.
According to the “Volatile Organic Compounds Unorganized Emission Control Standard” (GB 37822-2019), VOCs refer to organic compounds that participate in atmospheric photochemical reactions, or organic compounds determined in accordance with relevant regulations. When characterizing the overall emission of VOCs, according to industry characteristics and environmental management requirements, total volatile organic compounds (expressed in TVOC) and non-methane total hydrocarbons (expressed in NMHC) can be used as pollutant control items.
In a certain sense, non-methane total hydrocarbons can be used as a pollutant control project, which is approximately equal to VOCs.
